OPERATING SEALING APPARATUS FOR PACKING BAND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating sealing apparatus for packing band having a structure capable of cutting and adhering packing bands without causing any troubles without using a plurality of driving motors. SOLUTION: An engaging claw member 19 is installed swingably about a supporting shaft 17 so that a leading edge claw 15 moves along a moving route of the packing band 9. The engaging claw member 19 is pulled forward in a swinging direction by a tension coil spring 51 so as to push the leading edge claw portion 15 onto the packing band 9. The engaging claw member 19 swings forward following the movement of the packing band 9 toward a direction to be sent out, while the band 9 is sandwiched between the member and a fixation guide 53 to be anchored. The engaging claw member 19 also follows the movement of the band 9 toward a direction to be pulled back before the leading edge claw portion 15 swings backward so as to displace the leading edge claw portion 15 toward a direction off the moving route of the band 9.
