PURPOSE: An apparatus for locking door of cabinet in electronic communication device is provided to facilitate opening of the door by external force by hardily securing a resilient fastening plate. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(20) comprises a rotatable handle(23) mounted outside a door(12); a resilient fastening plate(26) connected to the handle(23) by a rotating pin(24) to permit the plate(26) to be secured to and/or removed from a main body of the apparatus by rotation of the handle(23) so that the door is fixed to the main body by the fastening plate(26) when the door(12) is closed. The apparatus(20) comprises a front base(21) to be secured to the door(12) having a bore by a screw(22). The apparatus includes a rear base(25) by a key(24a) formed to the rotating pin(24).
