PURPOSE: A structure is provided to prevent leakage of noises generated from the compressor by completely sealing the compressor and accumulator. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit comprises a heat exchanger and an accumulator(40) connected to a refrigerant inlet pipe(45); a compressor(25) arranged at a side of the accumulator and connected to a refrigerant outlet pipe(50), wherein the compressor transfers a high temperature high pressure refrigerant to a condenser; and a sound proofing member covering the compressor so as to reduce noises generated from the compressor. The sound proofing member includes the first sound proofing member(100) covering the top surfaces, rear surfaces and bottom surfaces of the compressor and the accumulator; and the second sound proofing member(130) assembled to the front surface of the first sound proofing member, and which covers the front surfaces and left and right sides of the compressor and the accumulator.
