<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin-improving food composition which comprises egg shell membranes or their hydrolysates exhibiting a good skin-improving effect on oral intake as the new use of the egg shell membranes, and an oyster extract, and further ascorbic acid or its salt, and to provide a skin-improving method using the skin-improving food composition. <P>SOLUTION: This skin-improving food composition is characterized by comprising the egg shell membranes or their hydrolysates, and an oyster extract, and further ascorbic acid or its salt.
