PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper guide device capable of being used more conveniently by smoothly operating a guide for assisting the movement of both ends of the paper. SOLUTION: The paper guide device consists of a left-hand side guide 16 and a right-hand side guide 17 where guide slots 16a, 17a for guiding both ends of paper are formed on the side and spur gear parts 16b, 17b are formed on the one side of the lower side, a band-like left-hand side gear band 21 and a right-hand side gear band 22 where a rack gear parts 21a, 22a are formed on the one side and engaged with the spur gear parts, a pinion gear 30 meshed with the rack gear of the left-hand side gear band and the right-hand side gear band and an adjustment lever 40 connectedly installed to the one end of the right-hand side gear band and installed on the top of the printer body.
