PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a placement member easy to deform by forming a lower horizontal part below a placement section 3d of the placement member on which an article A is to be mounted, and therefore to absorb and alleviate a shock to the article mounted on the placement member. SOLUTION: The packing tray is formed, on one of pairs of opposite walls 2a and 2b constituting a peripheral wall 2, with at least one placement member 3 having the placement section 3d on which the article A is to be mounted.
