PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a setup paper box by simplifying the constitution of a cushioning and fixing member formed in a box main body while a cushioning and fixing function of the setup paper box is being held. SOLUTION: In the setup paper box, a right side sheet 1, a front sheet 2, a left side sheet 3, a rear sheet 4, an overlap width 5, a partitioning piece 6 and a small partitioning piece 7, which form a body and a cushioning and fixing member, are connected to one another through fold lines. Lower side flaps 8 and 10 and upper and lower flaps 9 and 11, which form a bottom at a lower portion of the body, are connected to the sheets, respectively, through fold lines. Upper side flaps 12 and 14 and an upper flap 13 with an insertion piece 15, which form a lid at an upper portion of the body, are connected to the sheets, respectively, through fold lines. The respective connecting parts of the overlap width with the partitioning piece, the left side sheet with the rear sheet, and the right side sheet with the front sheet are successively folded inward along the fold lines to be superposed on the overlap width and are connected thereto. The setup paper box is so structured that when the box body in a flat state is erected and formed, both the partitioning pieces 6 and 7 develop a Z-shaped cushioning member self-supportingly on the axis of one side of the partitioning piece restrained by the overlap width, which is one of both the partitioning pieces housed inside a box main body. Both the partitioning pieces are freely deformable in conformity with the shape of a container so that it is made possible that the setup paper box always provides flexible cushioning and fixing effects.
