PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer capable of promoting the transpiration of deodorant liquid. SOLUTION: The deodorizer 1 has a container 2 which houses a plurality of water absorbable resin particulate substances 4 absorbing the deodorant liquid and has an opening 2a at an upper part thereof, a container base 3 on which the container 2 is placed, a first support member 5 which is erected on the container base 3 to support the container 2 in contact with a part in the height direction of the container 2, a second support member 6 which is provided to face the container base 3 to support the container 2 in contact with the container 2 and arranged by facing the first support member 5 and a heating member 7 for heating at least the first support member 5. The heat of the heating member 7 is transmitted to the above part located in the height direction of the container 2 through the first support member 5 to promote the transpiration of the deodorant liquid absorbed in the water absorbable resin particulate substances 4.
