PURPOSE: A system for blocking network connection and a method therefor are provided to selectively block the connection of a specific site on a network. CONSTITUTION: A blocking information DB(11) stores information of the second hosts(41-4m), which are connection blocking objects, and blocking setup association information. A network monitoring unit(12) monitors whether a transmission packet is generated from the first hosts(31-3n) on a network, and receives the generated transmission packet. A connection processing unit(13) judges whether destination included in the received transmission packet is a connection blocking object, on the basis of information stored in the blocking information DB(11). If the destination of the transmission packet is the connection blocking object, a packet generating unit(14) generates a connection blocking packet, and transmits the generated connection blocking packet to the first hosts(31-3n) so that the first hosts(31-3n) stop network connection attempt.
