<p>The expandable routing network according to the invention is made like a sorting network with each node featuring a complex routing element (11, 12,...., NN) with two input and output gates each, and provided with a process and memory capability as well as the function of routing information packages regarding the internet address in their headers. In the routing network according to the invention there is no need for concentrating processing and memory capacity at each input gate of the routing network. The expansion of the routing network according to the invention is well supported. In the network various fast links can be provided easily and the probability of a complete breakdown of the network is reduced.</p> |
