PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone capable of connecting data communication while making a speech even when a third party is going to connect data communication to the mobile phone during the speech. SOLUTION: The method for controlling an exchange station, a base station, and a terminal includes: a step of discriminating whether or not a first communication terminal is making communication connection to other communication terminal when a second communication terminal requests the first communication terminal to make data communication connection; a step of discriminating whether communication is voice communication or data communication when the communication connection is discriminated; a data communication connection request step of requesting a base station, for converting a wired channel and a wireless channel, to make data communication connection while continuing voice communication when the discrimination indicates voice communication; and a step of receiving a reply indicative of acceptance of the request of data communication connection outputted from the base station, connecting the second communication terminal to the base station and performing data communication between the first and second communication terminals.
