MACRO CELL AND METHOD OF ARRANGING AND WIRING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of arranging and wiring macro cells defined on data which is capable of making wire lengths from a destination to which the macro cells are connected such as a circuit for special use or the like as short as possible without having to consider directions of arranging the macro cells, and also to provide macro cells used in the method. SOLUTION: Each of the macro cells has pins disposed on the four sides of its rectangular shape. The pins disposed on one side are equivalent to those disposed on the other side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
