<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop belt photoreceptor carrying mechanism which realizes high quality multicolor printing. <P>SOLUTION: In the photoreceptor carrying device of an electrophotographic printer having: a loop belt photoreceptor which is in the form of an endless belt, a carrying means which carries the loop belt, and an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means, a cleaning means, and an electrifying means all of which are disposed along the carrying path with arbitrary amounts of spaces between them, the tension of the loop belt photoreceptor is set equal to or higher than 100 N, a guide rail is provided on the internal wall of the loop belt photoreceptor and each roller of the photoreceptor carrying device has a groove in which the guide rail is fitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
