<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current control method for rotating electric machine capable of attaining high efficiency by effectively utilizing a harmonic component of magnetic flux distribution. <P>SOLUTION: In a current control method for the rotating electric machine containing the higher-order harmonic component in the magnetic flux distribution, a higher-order harmonic current having a current component of which the phase is different by 90 [el. deg] from that of a magnet higher-order harmonic component and the same-phase component is superimposed on a fundamental wave current and passes electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
