PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TDMA communication system capable of calculating a propagation delay of a signal from each other station with high accuracy when its own station or other station causes a positioning error so as to obtain a distance from its own station and estimating the position of its own station or the other station causing the positioning error on the basis of the distance. SOLUTION: A database 8a registers and updates ID of each other station and reference transmission timing unique to the other station in a state of normal reception. When a faulty station whose position information is erroneous is detected, a reception is calculated ((4)) from a demodulated bit stream and a detected base band signal, a unique reference transmission timing corresponding to the faulty station ID is acquired from the database 8a ((5)), and a distance up to the faulty station is estimated ((6)) on the basis of a difference (propagation time)τ<SB>r</SB>between the unique reference transmission timing and the delay.
