PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the data input of a route name to be displayed on a display screen or printed in a commuter pass. SOLUTION: This automatic commuter pass issuing device comprises a route name table for storing route names related to a station where the body of the automatic commuter pass issuing device is set; a stop station table for storing stop stations of trains in a route related to each route name stored in the line name table; an input means for inputting a departure station and an arrival station of a commuter pass to the body of the automatic commuter pass issuing machine; and a retrieval means for retrieving the route name related to the departure station and the arrival station from the route name table and the stop station table by use of the inputted departure station and the arrival station.
