PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disclosure of illicit articles by finding out articles of illicit contents in the stage before the disclosure in an electronic bulletin board. SOLUTION: This electronic bulletin board system discloses various information for many and unspecified number of browsers on a network, and has a check term database for storing a term requiring a check, the contributed article censoring function associated to the check term database, automatically retrieving whether or not the same term as the check requiring term exists in the content of the articles contributed by a contributor before the disclosure to the electronic bulletin board, and imparting error information to the check requiring term, and the check term renewing function for adding a new illicit term to the check term database when finding out the new illicit term of imparting no error information in the articles.
