PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar display support device which provides neat and excellent appearance by hiding a complicated part such as a radiation hole, etc., in a planar display, and allows falling dust not to be easily invade the planar display. SOLUTION: The device includes: a member for a floor surface; two supporters equal in length whose base parts are fixed to the floor surface member; a first member for connecting the distal ends of the two supporters; and a connection member which are fixed to the two supporters, and connect a part between the two supporters. The planar display is supported by the connection member, and the depth width of the first member and the two supporters does not become less than the sum of the depth width of the planar display and the depth width of the connection member.
