PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electromagnetic wave shield material which can obtain a conductive material pattern (electromagnetic wave shield pattern) extremely cleanly with high precision, and can stabilize an electromagnetic wave shield property. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing the electromagnetic wave shield material, dots are subjected to flexographic printing on a film surface with a soluble matter in a solvent, and a conductive material layer composed of an insoluble conductive material in the solvent is formed on the film surface. The film surface comes into contact with the solvent to remove the dots and the conductive material layer on the dots, whereby a conductive material pattern is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
