<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which the center clamp area and information signal part have an identical thickness. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 2 having a projecting part at a clamp area is prepared by injection molding, and the resultant substrate 2 is mounted on a spin stand 51. A center plug 52 is inserted into the center hole 2a of the substrate 2. An ultraviolet curable resin 53 is applied to the center part of the substrate 2, and the spin stand 51 is then rotated to form a cover layer 3 with uniform film thickness. The center plug 53 is removed from the center hole 2a of the substrate 2, and an opening is formed in the clamps area of the cover layer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
