<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact reader/writer capable of easily performing demodulation by eliminating unstable response output from a non-contact information carrier, and fixing the level of a binary signal by the eliminating method. <P>SOLUTION: This non-contact reader/writer has a level detecting part for detecting the receiving level from the non-contact information carrier, and a dummy signal generating part for generating a dummy signal to replacing a signal not reaching a designated level with a dummy signal when the signal level detected by the level detecting part does not reach a designated level. The subsequent H/L level is determined with reference to the level of the dummy signal, and decoding is performed according to the addition result of the received signal and the dummy signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
