<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network apparatus capable of easily realizing on/off control of a main power source in response to a command from an external apparatus on a network by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving notification that the main power source is turned off from an external device, the apparatus disconnects a first communication means from the network, and connect a second communication means to the network.
