<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data correcting method which resolves the problem concerning violation of setup time and/or holding time. <P>SOLUTION: The method corrects data formed by two asynchronous sources. In the method, data from one source synchronous with a first clock are transmitted via a register synchronous with a second clock assigned to the other source. Output data of the register are compared with output data delayed by at least one clock period of the second clock.
