PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine of simple structure capable of discharging commodity even in no electricity. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is characterized in that a box body is provided with a commodity passage and a commodity throw-out device disposed inside and a penetrating hole, and further provided with a releasing member. The releasing member is inserted in the penetrating hole to release holding of the commodity throw-out device, whereby even if no electric current is applied, the commodity can be discharged.
