PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting circular notice communication using a facsimile machine of which setting for performing the circular notice communication is easy and by which setting states of other devices of circular notice member can easily be grasped. SOLUTION: A first step that set fundamental information for performing the circular notice communication, a second step that calls the following facsimile machine based on the fundamental information, a third step that receives an information signal from the following facsimile machine, a fourth step that determines propriety of acceptance of the circular notice communication to be performed based on the fundamental information set in the first step in the following facsimile machine based on the information signal received in the third step, and a fifth step that generates an information signal based on the fundamental information set in the first step and transmits it to the following facsimile machine when the following facsimile machine is revealed that it can accept the circular notice communication to be performed based on the fundamental information set in the first step in the fourth step are sequentially performed.
