PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal encoding method, a decoding method and equipment and a program for executing the methods which do not need increase of transmission bit rate of a transmission line and a large-sized storage device in a decoder when code errors occur frequently, and ensure easily real time property when unexpected retransmission occurs frequently. SOLUTION: The signal encoding method analyzes a digital signal into two or more feature amounts every frame, and outputs a packet containing a code corresponding to a quantization value of each of the feature amounts. In the signal encoding method, the signal decoding method and the equipment and program for executing the methods, when a retransmission requiring signal is inputted, a code corresponding to the quantization value of the feature amount wherein influence of code errors is large is outputted having priority to the feature amount wherein the influence is smaller.
