PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a remote management maintenance system by regulating communication order based on a poling signal, and in emergency information, interrupting the communication order and performing the communication of the emergency information. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a poling signal, each image forming device 10 determines whether the device 10 itself is poled or not (steps SB1, SB2). When determined that the device 10 itself is poled, the device 10 waits for the lapse of previously set interruption time (step SB6), and when there is information to be transmitted, performs the transmitting processing of the information (steps SB7 to SB10). When the device 10 determines the poling of the device 10 itself is performed and there is information to be urgently informed of from the device 10 itself, the emergency information is transmitted within the interruption time after receiving the poling signal (step SB3, step SB4).
