PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set capable of obtaining high operability even when functions are complicated. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set 100 is provided with a CPU for controlling the operation of the telephone set 100 and a display device 11 to be controlled by the CPU. The CPU displays contents corresponding to a signal inputted from a mouse 4 on the display device 11 and controls the telephone set 100 so as to execute operation corresponding to the input operation of the mouse 4.
