PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device capable of avoiding various complicated operations depending on a classification of broadcast mail and e-mail when browsing a message. SOLUTION: This broadcast receiving device has a recording medium 403 for storing the received e-mail and the broadcast mail, an additional program 402b for adding an e-mail header to a broadcast mail text, and a display program 402c for displaying the broadcast mail and the e-mail stored in the recording medium 403 on a monitor 407. A CPU 411 extracts the broadcast mail body text when receiving the broadcast mail according to these programs, and adds the e-mail header to the broadcast mail, and stores the mail in the recording medium 403. The broadcast mail and e-mail information stored in the recording medium 403 are read out, and are displayed on the same image screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
