PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver possibly reducing the effort and time, before an information to see is displayed. SOLUTION: A receiver 100 extracts a program data for each channel and an additional data to show schematic contents of each channel by a turner 1, a demodulation part 2 and a multiple signal separation part 3. A controller 5 selects a plurality of channels, based on an audience frequency and the like from all the channels, an the contents of the additional data corresponding to this selected channels are sequentially displayed at a part of a screen of display equipment 610.
