PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon monoxide gas alarm device capable of operating exact alarm for an emergency state where carbon monoxide gas starts to generate rapidly. SOLUTION: The carbon monoxide gas alarm device detects carbon monoxide gas and comprises a first warning sound generating apparatus 2 which emits a warning sound based on the gas concentration. When the gas concentration is higher than a first concentration, a first warning sound is provided from the first warning sound generating apparatus 2. When the gas concentration is higher than a second concentration which is higher than the first concentration, a second warning sound is provided in a warning area which is larger than a warning area for the first warning sound.
