PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effective learning using a colored sheet used for learning a foreign language, etc. SOLUTION: In the foreign language learning method, a learner listens to the recorded contents of an illegible foreign language phrase section 20 written on the page P1 of a text and comprehends the recorded contents by reading a Japanese phrase 11 corresponding to the phrase section 20 written on the page P1. Then, the learner practices pronunciation of the foreign language by repeating after the recorded contents and, after that, places a colored sheet 5, which makes the phrase section 20 legible, on the phrase section 20 to make out the foreign language and comprehend the contents.
