<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage controller for alternating-current generator for vehicle, the controller of which enables the enhancement of cooling capability. <P>SOLUTION: The voltage controller comprises an IC chip for control circuit, radiation fins 253, and a case. The radiation fins 253 have base portions 256 bonded and fixed to the IC chip for control circuit and heat-radiating portions 257 having substantially U-shaped cross sections perpendicular to the direction of ventilation. Dead-end air ducts are formed between the radiation fin bonding face of the IC chip for control circuit and the heat-radiating portions 257. In the heat-radiating portions 257, a plurality of adjoining heat-radiating parts 257a and 257b are formed at different positions in a plurality of different rows at predetermined intervals in the direction of ventilation.
