PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a simultaneous two-phase energizing condition over a long time in a motor drive performing energization by means of PWM control according to different torque command signals from each other for a motor coil with a plurality of phases.

SOLUTION: An oscillating part 5A generates reset pulse signals RP1 and RP2. A PWM control unit 9A inputs the reset pulse signals RP1 and RP2 and forcibly turns off PWM control signals P1 and P2 respectively according to the reset pulse signals RP1 and RP2. Thus, the simultaneous two-phase energizing condition over a long time can be avoided, thus keeping the parallelism of two-phase energization.
