<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication equipment and its method capable of improving a response upon adaptively changing transmission way in response to communication circumstance, and such a program and a recording medium of the communication equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission way of a transmitting portion 104 is selected in response to a measuring result of transmission quality in a measuring portion 105 among multiple transmission ways. A selection of this transmission way is repeated by a selected period set by a selected period updating portion 107. This selected period is also updated in each of selected cycles of the transmission way. A predetermined period data responded to relative transmission ways is held in a data table 1072, and the period data in response to the transmission way selected at a transmission way selecting portion 106 is retrieved therefrom.
