<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device capable of suppressing occurrence of abnormal emission to realize uniform surface illumination, and capable of facilitating an assembling work and a reassembling work. <P>SOLUTION: A mirror finished smooth surface part 25 is formed at a position on the lower surface 14 of a light guiding plate 3 and along the side 12 facing the light guiding plate 3, and a rubber-made light absorbing part 15 is tightly fixed to the light guiding plate 3 by making the mirror finished smooth surface 26 of the rubber-made light absorbing member 15 adhere to the smooth surface part 25. Therefore, when assembling or reassembling the light source device, there is no possibility that glue of a double-faced tape adheres to the light guiding plate 3 side, even if the light guiding plate 3 is separated from the rubber-made light absorbing member 15. Accordingly, abnormal emission caused by the glue of the double-faced tape adhering to the light guiding plate 3 is prevented, and a work to remove the glue from the light guiding plate 3 is not required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
