<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a lamp socket so that a danger of damages in a socket part is avoided to a considerable degree. <P>SOLUTION: In this socket for a halogen high voltage lamp, since a coupling member is formed in accordance with a mode of a bayonet-locking device, and has at least one cam 17 formed in a storage jacket 12 and radially turned inward, and a contact shoulder part 21 for the lower surface 19 of a cam 17 in a socket block 11, the socket block 11 and the storage jacket 12 reach a coupling position after axially coupling and relatively rotating in the circumferential direction (an arrow D). The coupling position can be locked by at least one reverse rotation preventing part exerting shape coupling action, and the reverse rotation preventing part automatically reaches its acting position when rotating in the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
