<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect an azimuth. <P>SOLUTION: Portable terminal equipment 1 comprises a portable terminal main body 2 incorporating magnetic generating parts 6 and 7 and a strap 3 to be mounted on the portable terminal main body 2, and the strap 3 is provided with a connecting wire part 10 for mounting the strap 3 on the portable terminal main body 2, and the portable terminal main body 2 is provided with a mounting part 8 for mounting the connecting wire part 10. An azimuth magnet 11 is mounted on the strap 3, and the position of the mounting part 8 and a distance between the top end of the connecting wire part 10 and the azimuth magnet 11 are decided to limit operation ranges C and D of the azimuth magnet 11 so that a leakage flux from the magnetic generating parts 6 and 7 can be not more than prescribed values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
