PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage of a flexible wiring board due to concentration of a bending stress or peeling of a connection part caused by a restoring repulsion, when the flexible wiring board is bent for usage. SOLUTION: This flexible wiring board FC is provided with a square base film 6, a plurality of metallic layers 7 that electrically connect the front and rear ends of the base film 6 and are arranged in right and left directions, and a square cover film 9 that exposes the front and rear end sides of the metallic layer 7 and covers its central part. It is bent for usage in a manner that the metallic layer 7 may be bent arcuately in the forward and backward directions. A plurality of grooves 11 are formed in the cover film around the bending place, and the grooves 11 are equal in distance (9a and 9b are constant) on sides 9c and 9d to be bent in the cover film 9.
