PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an afterglow light source body which has stable light emitting ability, can maintain prescribed luminance for a long period of time, is applicable to various forms of merchandise and exhibits visual beauty excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: The afterglow light source of a three-dimensional shape is formed by mixing light accumulative pigment powder and a plastic resin, forming a container body, and embedding a UV radiation chip therein or the planar light source module is configured by superposing and pasting a ray guide plate which is printed with ink for guiding rays on a film-like plate formed with silver printed wiring and is embedded with the UV radiation chip, a film which is formed with a resin coating material layer containing the light accumulative pigment powder and has preferably transmittability, and a reflection plate which consists of a material having reflection characteristics, on each other and this planar light source module is used as the afterglow light source.
