A combustion fuel mixture for use in a fiberizer that has a spinner, consisting of natural gas and oxygen. Also disclosed is a process for fiberizing molten glass whereby the spinner of a fiberizer is heated by combustion of said fuel mixture, molten glass is then dropped into the spinner and ejected, forming glass fibers that are then sucked downwardly into a forming room.
