The method involves at least two vehicles (2-8) transmitting signals, wit the two or more vehicles being grouped according to their signal, and traffic data being recorded using sensors that detect the signals, while the vehicles receive command signals back. The signals received back work in conjunction with driving assistance systems to regulate and improve the traffic flow and are calculated based on the traffic conditions determined using the received signals .The received signals automatically control acceleration and deceleration of the vehicles. An Independent claim is included for a corresponding device implementing the above method.
