<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system in which image deterioration caused by repeated copying can be avoided and the same image quality as an original document or electronic document information can be infinitely maintained. <P>SOLUTION: Printed matter shown in Fig. 2-4 is obtained (S32) by processing (S31) a first situation or a second situation. In this printed matter, an original document portion printed with the original document and a code information portion encoding the original document are printed on the margin of the original document portion in the printed matter, for example.
