<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion diagnosis method for an overhead line which does not need a work in a gondola and enables the easy and safe diagnosis work and to provide a diagnosis apparatus used by the method. <P>SOLUTION: An unmanned self-running apparatus 2 is put on an overhead transmission line 1 and made to run, the surface part of the overhead transmission line 1 is scraped by a scraping mechanism 6 attached to the self-running apparatus 2, and the scraped pieces 9 are collected by a collecting container 8 and analyzed to diagnose the corrosion rate of the overhead transmission line 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
