PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for preventing the heat generation of a PDP by a plasma display device including the PDP is prevented from its temperature rising caused by driving. SOLUTION: A first invention is to cool the whole device by an air-cooling device 80 based on each kind of temperature in the device for preventing the heat generation of the PDP 1.
