TIME STAMP IMPRINTING SYSTEM TO ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT, AND PROGRAM MEDIUM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a time stamp imprinting system which can facilitate imprinting of a time stamp for certification of the creation date and so on of a document and can verify the stamped date easily and reliably. SOLUTION: An electronic document creating organization 20 has a pluralities of document creating terminals 30 and 40. When the document creating terminal 30 transmits a created document and a stamp request message 31 to a time stamp issuance server 12, the time stamp issuance server 12 gives an electronic signature to the document using signature creation secret keys KS1and KS2and returns it. The document creating terminal 40 transmits the document file with the time stamp and a time stamp verification request message 41 received from the terminal 30 to a time stamp verification server 13. The time stamp verification server 13 verifies it with the signature verification secret key KV2and returns its verified result. The terminal 30 verifies the signature and the terminal 40 verifies the signature result respectively with the signature public key kV1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
