PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method in which fluctuations of dimension in the longitudinal direction of the uncoated part and fluctuations of that dimension between the inside and the outside are decreased in the manufacturing method of a pole plate in which an active material layer is formed by coating and drying the paste mix on at least one side of a collector using a die coater.

SOLUTION: One end 11 of the collector 1 is measured by a running line control sensor 9, and a die nozzle 6 is moved in vertical direction to the running direction of the collector by a deviation width between the measuring position and the reference position.
