<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller whereby even a developmentally disabled individual can control a house electric appliance or the like by means of a biological signal such as a myoelectricity wave, a brain electrical activity wave or a rheocardiographic wave so as to be easily compatible with change of a user. <P>SOLUTION: The remote controller is configured to include: a biological signal input section; a neural network section for applying discrimination processing to the biological signal; a database for storing information with respect to respective registration people; an output signal processing section for converting an output signal from the neural network section into a transmission signal; and a transmission section for transmitting the transmission signal. Further, the remote controller is provided with a biological signal processing section for applying signal pre-processing to extract a feature quantity from the biological signal, and bio feedback section feeds back information handled by the remote controller such as the measured living body signal, the extracted feature quantity, a posterior probability as to operations of the controller, and a result of identification of the user to the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
