<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a simple and smooth control among lighting fixtures by controlling their operating states in a home or the like, as well as to enable operation or confirmation of working states of lighting fixtures in a home from outside, crime prevention and safety confirmation of residents, without any large-scale electrical work. <P>SOLUTION: With the lighting system in which a gateway server 4 and a main controller 3 communicate with each other in serial signals, the main controller 3 and a remote control unit 2 communicate with each other by radio, and the remote control unit 2 and a lighting fixture 1 communicate with each other in infrared signals, the remote control unit 2 controls the lighting fixture 1 through a communication part at a load side, transmits operation informations of the lighting fixture 1 to the main controller 3 through a communication part at a mains side, and the main-controller 3, when it receives the operation informations at a downstream side, transmits them to the gateway server 4 through a communication part at an upstream side. The gateway server 4, when it receives the operation informations at a communication part at a local side, processes them in a given format and transmits them to an outside terminal from a communication part at a remote side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
