PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PTC material that can be processed into an optional shape such as a panel because of its compactness and light weight and can be used for a heater or the like. SOLUTION: This PTC material contains a high molecular or low molecular compound having ester structure and conductive particles. In a preferable made, the organic compound having ester structure is a high molecular ester compound and, for example, is a higher fatty acid vinyl polymer.
